About YouMods
YouMods started as YouFilter, a keyword filter for YouTube, and that is still its core. Hide any video whose title has a word or phrase you’d rather not see, like spoilers for a show you haven’t finished. Choose which of Subscriptions, Home, and Recommended each keyword applies to.
It has since picked up a few more mods, each with its own switch. It can hide Shorts and Playables, take YouTube Premium’s “Jump ahead” automatically, and sort Watch Later by video length. It runs entirely in your browser, and it’s free.
Features
- Keyword and phrase filtering
- Hide videos by any word or phrase in the title, and pick which sections each keyword applies to.
- Hide Shorts and Playables
- Two separate switches, applied before the page appears, so they never flash on screen.
- Auto Jump Ahead
- For YouTube Premium members. Skips sponsor reads and long intros as soon as playback reaches them.
- Sort Watch Later by length
- Adds shortest and longest first to Watch Later’s Sort menu.
- Import and export keywords
- Manage your keyword list in bulk with CSV files.
- Free and private
- No accounts, no tracking. Settings stay in your browser and can sync with your browser profile.
